Festival of Lights
This is the last weekend of this year's Festival of Lights and you can use the opportunity to see the attractions with special light installations. This does not only include the immediate city centre, but also the Märkisches Viertel, for example.
German Comic-Con
The German comic-con is rather a new thing, imitating the American phenomenon. It seems, however, that the organisers have invested in "real" stars coming over and all in all a satisfying event for comics/sci-fi lovers.
Tickets are quite pricey and can be expected, but kids under 12 get in for free with a paying adult.
