Weekend Events for the Whole Family in Berlin, Nov 18th - 20th

Almost Advent...

And some attractions are altready open:
    • Winter World in Potsdamer Platz: All week long (except this week on Sunday, due to the Totensonntag)

    • Another early Christmas event: the Christmas Garden in the Botanical Gardens. Quite an entry fee, but seems amazing: light shows, skating rink and more.

    • Sat/Sun : small Christmas bazaar in the Finland Cultural Institute (Schleiermacherstraße 24a 10961 Berlin-Kreuzberg , U Gneisenaustr)
    •  Markt der Kontinente, the Market of the Continents : The Ethnological Museum in Dahlem offers visits to each continent during the next four weeks, starting with Europe, at the weekend.
    • Sunday, fairy tales in the Oekowerk and also a small Christmas Market there (details

    Furthermore

    • Puppet theatre festival in the FEZ (details)

    • Totensonntag on Sunday; Flea markets are closed. In Markthalle IX, the organisers understood that different cultures commemorate the Sunday of the Dead differently, for example the Mexican and their Dia de los Muertos. So, there is a Mexican breakfast market for Dia de los Muertos, in Markthalle IX, on Sunday 10:00 - 5:00

    • Also on Sunday: a market for postcards, coin and stamp collectors inside the Ostbahnhof
