Weekend Events for the Whole Family in Berlin, Feb 3rd through 5th


Art, Graphic Food for Thought and Actual Food for Thought

The Berlin Graphic Days festival combines an exhibition of graphic works from Berlin, as well as a market where you can purchase some. There is also music, meetings and food trucks.

  • More food and markets at the weekend:
    • What's more German that beer and sausage? The Bier und Wurst Festival (Markthalle IX, Sunday) will not leave you in want (details)

    • If beer is not enough for you, the Späth'sche Baumschulen have a wine festival on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be also food and of course sales from the tree nursery. 
    • If you prefer to go through antiques when you fill your tummy, look no further than the indoor flea market at Ballhaus Berlin, Sunday from 11:00

  • Torchlight tour in the Zoo Aquarium, Friday 6pm 
  • Saturday all day at the Bahnhofspassagen Potsdam, "Circus Party" with Radio Teddy 
  • Saturday (7pm) and Sunday (2pm): Night of the Jumps, motorcycle tricks and stunts, at the Mercedes Benz World

  • Museums and Castles: 
    • Saturday afternoon: workshops for the whole family at the Museum of Technology
    • Saturday, 2 - 5 pm : workshop for children in the Haus am Waldsee Museum 
    • Saturday afternoon: workshops for children aged 3 to 6, with musical instruments , at the Klingendes Museum (details)
    • Saturday 3 pm: Workshop "Können Bilder fröhlich sein?" at the Alte Nationalgalerie 
    • Sunday, 2pm: Workshop about the "real lives" of Asterix and Obelix (that is, of ancient Gauls) at the Neues Museum (for kids aged 6 to 12) ; also on Sunday at the same time - workshop on Medieval printing for kids aged 8 to 12, at the DHM 
    • Sunday, 3pm: Guided tour for kids in the Charlottenburg Castle
