Weekend Events for the Whole Family in Berlin, July 14th - 16th

Street Parties, Festivals and Much more

There are many street parties and festivals to choose from at the weekend. The two main ones are the "Lesbian-Gay City Festival" in and around Nollendorfplatz and the German French Festival, in and around Brandenburg Gate.

But that is not all! oh, no. that is not all!

There is also the last weekend of the "German-French Funfair", also calling itself "Volksfest Sommer", in the Zentraler Festplatz. The fair features 60 different attractions including many more rides than your average Berlin fest, more like a small amusement park. The funfair is open daily, from 3 pm, for free (the rides cost money, of course). Wednesday is half-priced day and there are fireworks on Saturday. Until July 16th. Transport: Bus X21 or M21 from the U7 in  Jacob-Kaiser-Platz
