Weekend Events for the Whole Family in Berlin, September 14th - 21th

The Berlin Marathon (and more sports at the weekend)

The Berlin Marathon is the main event for the weekend. The main race would be on Sunday, starting on Str-der-17-Juni and finishing in Brandenburg Gate. This means, the city centre will be practically car free.

On Saturday, the skaters' marathon as well as the children's marathon (or: mini-marathon) will take place.

The Marathon map, including road blockage, here

But this is not all of the sport for this weekend

  • On Saturday, September 15th, an inclusive mini-Triathlon in Orankesee , the 10th Oranke Open

  • Also on Saturday: the figure skating section at TSC Berlin is having a trail training for children aged 3 to 5. I highly recommend this, if you think you're child might have it in them! You should coordinate in advance, but there are shoes for rent there

Furthermore...
