Events for September 17th-19th, including Sukkot Events in Berlin

A weekend with lots of nature!

This is the weekend of nature discovery in Berlin - with dozens of organizations addressing nature and environment offering various activities to the public under Der Lange Tag der Stadtnatur (so "Lange" that it actually lasts two days, Saturday and Sunday). One small different in comparison with previous years: for each event you have to purchase a ticket separately ( once it was possible to arrive spontaneously, apparently the corona ruined it).

In addition, various ecological events take place with or without regard to the main event:
  • Events and guided tours in the abandoned "Spreepark", this weekend ( details )
  • Saturday is "World Cleaning Day" and neighbourhood cleaning initiatives are organized throughout the city ( details , and more details )
  • Environmental Festival in Kulturbreuerei on Sunday with activities for the whole family and also the possibility of a "swap market" for children's clothing and similar things ( details

And also a particularly artistic weekend

If nature events (and for us Sukkot events) are not enough - then there are also quite a few art events this weekend, which is a " gallery weekend ", with a lot of openness; "Underground Art Weekend" at the Station near Gleisdreieck Station ( details ) and also Berlin Art Week . The choice is hard!

In addition, in the field of music :

  • The children's concerts of the " Komische Oper " and the Philharmonie returned to the two bodies. Saturday / Sunday concerts (some of which have only a few tickets left)
  • Saturday: "Symphonic Mob" - you can listen, or even play, in the inner passage of the "Mol of Berlin" - also covered for a day of rain, also free, also culture - who needs more ( details )
  • The "Staatsoper" will broadcast the "Marriage of Figaro" on Saturday evening in Bebelplatz ( details )
