The Sternfahrt Bike Ride

The Sternfahrt is a demonstration / bike ride to raise awareness for the rights of bikers. It will start in several different places in the city on Sunday, and will advance all the way to the Grosse Stern, the Victory Column. There will also be a street party in Brandenburg Gate

And if you prefer to watch, there is also the Formula E  races this weekend, in Tempelhofer Feld, starring race cars, but electric ones.

• Funfairs and Street Parties: 

• African Cultural Festival in Alexanderplatz (until June 18th), including a lot of music, other aspects of African culture, stands with African products and food.

•  Street party in the Spandau Old City on Friday / Saturday / Sunday, with fireworks on Saturday night 

• Street party also in Alt Buckow (Alt-Buckow 2-38 in 12349 Berlin) , Sat/Sun 

• The Steglitzer Festwoche, a traditional funfair with rides and stands, takes place every day until June 11th. In Bäkepark, 15 minutes walk from Rathaus Steglitz

• Bernau, near Berlin, celebrates the Husittenfest, a big medieval festival, between Friday and Sunday. The fair will feature sword competitions, stands but also more modern rides etc. On Saturday, from 11:00 , there is a parade through the old city of Bernau

• The Maker Faire, a big technology / inventions/ DIY fair, will take place in Station Berlin on both weekend days (details)

Hebrew / Israeli / Jewish Heritage 

Israeli singer Corinne Allal (info in DE) comes to Berlin for a concert on June 11th, at 8pm, in WABE in Prenzlauer Berg. Very exciting singer-songwriter and a must! Details
