Weekend Events for the Whole Family in Berlin, June 30th - July 2nd

Jazz in XBerg, Electro in PBerg-FHain

Lots of cool musical events in Berlin at the weekend.

The first if the Bergmannstrassenfest, Kreuzberg Jazzt, a jazz festival in Bergmannstrasse. The street offers this weekend a huge street party with the regular fair (stands, rides, food), but also with several stages for jazz performers. It is one of the most crowded street fairs of the year (fair warning to those of you who dislike big crowds and/or have young kids who tend to get lost), but it is also a lot of fun.

Another festival would be the Zug der Liebe, the current version of the Love Parade. It will start on Saturday, at 1 pm, in Mauerpark, and will continue throughout Danziger Str., Petersburger Str and Warschauer Str., all the way to Stralauer Allee. Participation is free, after-parties for a fee (which goes to charities)
